Despite the weather, we had an incredible day of training at a former RAF base in mid Lincolnshire! The focus of the session was to provide several of our responders with the skills needed to safely and effectively operate vehicle-mounted winches. This wasn’t just about harnessing the raw power of the winch; it was all about mastering the safe techniques and best practices essential for real-life situations [Closely matching a nationally recognised award].

While today's training emphasised safety and procedures, the next phase will be even more exciting. We'll be heading to an off-road site where responders will put theory into action, facing real-world scenarios and challenges!
