Sunday 26th June saw our first show of the year at Swaton Vintage Day.
We have supported this event for four years and once again we manned the pedestrian gate welcoming visitors to the show.
After heavy rain on the Saturday the entrance to the show was very muddy and one or two exhibitors became stuck in the mud and needed recovery and assistance to reach their pitch. However the sun came out and it was clear blue skies in time for the Hurricane flypast and the ever popular World Egg Throwing Championship.
A big thank you to the responders who helped man the stand and gate this year and to all who came along to chat and have ago on the tombola. The star prize wasn't won and so it will bve carried forward to our next show on July 9th, Rescue Day Emergency Services Show at Crowle.
